It has been a while, now time to catch up. One of my favorite NYC festivals is on Labor Day weekend. Sunday is a big Brazilian Day event , and this year , for the second time, there is an event on Saturday, like a warm up for Brazilian day. It is in fact more of a spiritual cleansing called a Lavagem on 46th Street, aka Little Brazil. The MC was Carlinhos Brown, my favorite Brazilian entertainer, ever!
